Sep 30 2008 - 6:00pm
Sep 30 2008 - 8:00pm

The Platte County Commission invites you to attend the first Public Open House for the update to the comprehensive Parks System Master Plan.  The meeting will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on September 30th at the County Administration Building, 415 Third Street in Platte City.

The County’s original park plan was developed ten years ago and led to the creation of the current parks system, including the community centers and the newly opened Missouri Riverfront Trail.  Substantial public input was the success behind the first plan, and the parks update will follow the same path.  Additional information and feedback opportunities are available at the project website, http://www.platteparks.com .

Park board veteran faces steep challenge in state Senate race

She’s using all her Clay County connections. And she’s relying on all the friends and associations she made serving as president of the Kansas City park board.
