I'm sure 9 out of ten don't even know what the actual qualifications are: Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution sets the principal qualifications one must meet to be eligible to the office of President.

* be a natural born citizen of the United States;[7]
* be at least thirty-five years old;
* have been a permanent resident in the United States for at least fourteen years.

So, Palin qualifies. So does Pelosi. However, I don't want to see either of them as president. I'd rather nail my tongue to a tree.

I see them as two sides of the same coin-- average intelligence (I don't want "average", I want way better than average.), worried more about the party than the country, etc.

I also think that some of the people so devoted to Palin remind me of the Obamamanics; very much so I think.
