Monday, we reported that tax officials and Rep. Roy Blunt and his wife Abigail are reviewing records to see if the two received tax breaks on a Georgetown home to which they weren't entitled.
Current DC tax records list the owner of the home as Abigail P. Blunt, Trustee.
The deed to the home, though, attached below, appears to show that in March 2008 Roy Blunt and Abigail Blunt each transferred their half-ownership of the property into their revocable trusts.
Such trusts are commonly established for estate planning reasons.
In any case, the deed seems to indicate that the Blunts -- or, to be precise, their respective trusts -- own the home jointly, even if DC property tax records don't reflect that.

Dave, Kitty Kat, the Govna of Kansas, is going to be confirmed as the HHS Secretary. She didn't pay her taxes.
The most powerful treasury secretary in the modern era didn't pay his taxes... and he's in charge of the IRS.
Tell me again why we are suppossed to care about a $500 tax deduction that a Washington bureaucrat got wrong?
