President Obama today chose Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to run the Department of Health and Human Services, a White House source told the Star.
The public announcement will be Monday.
She has been a top possibility ever since former Sen. Tom Daschle, Obama's original nominee, withdrew because of tax problems. The governor had been on his list for vice president last summer.
He is a doctor, has more experience with health care reform and choosing him would allow Sebelius to stay in Kansas, where arguably she is needed more.
But then since when did DC ever care about Kansas?
Is she as extreme in her support for abortion as Oba-wan? He not only unconditionally supports Partial-Birth Abortion, the most bestial, sadistic medical procedure allowed under US law, against the most innocent and helpless victims, but also voted and spoke out AGAINST the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act, which prevents babies that SURVIVE an abortion attempt from being killed or left alone to die! He also stated that mothers should have a period of time after a baby is born to decide if they want it killed! May God strike him down!

Dean would have been a much better choice, yes. As a doctor he would have a much better handle on how nationalizing would tie doctor's hands and his insights into the health care maze wouls have been useful.
The rest of his crackpot persona, well whatever.

Obama made a smart choice.....
Kathleen will certainly have her hands full with this job but I will be glad to support her in her efforts to again help the people.
