Good Morning America is interested in As City Hall Turns

They had better get an agent. It is obnly time before they're on with Jon Stweart, Stephen Colbert, leno, letterman. or dare I say it-- "The View"?

At least the Squid won't be appearing. The ladies on "The View" are afraid if Squid is on, viewers who tune in late will think Rosie O'Donnell's back on the show.

Seriously, though, the floodgates are beginning to open on Funkenstein and his bride. Unfortunately, we can't expect any sort of in-depth coverage until the media gets over the circus sideshow elements of the story and focus on the issues rather than the personalities.

If he wants to make some changes, then he's going to have to pick his fights. He can't fight the Council on everything and this has cost him dearly in terms of political capital.

He should have just stopped when the Council passed the ordinance. Then he could have concentrated on light rail or sewers or whatever. Now, whenever he's in the media, the issue of his wife pops up, instead of something important.

If he can't work with out her, then he should resign. He didn't run for office as "man & wife", or was he being deceptive?

For those of you that think the Mayor is an embarrassment to the city: How do you like the story going nationwide? You can thank Steve Glorioso for the exposure from what I hear. Hey Steve: Since you’ve got all this time on your hands now that Kay got crushed in the Northland, guess you’ve decided to turn up the heat on the Mayor since he won’t pay your protection money? Stay classy.

This reminds me of the days when we were the talk of the big 3 - ABC, CBS, NBC when then Attorney General, Vern Miller forced down a TWA plane by gunpoint for the stewardesses serving liquor as the plane flew over Kansas, a 'dry' state.
We're on a roll here, we lose status as a 'bell weather' state; We're on the map with our Hooterville love birds. If the economy ever gets back on track, we're sure to attract industry and commerce.

We have finally hit the bottom of the tub...When I figure this Mayor is at the bottom of the gene pool, he manages to drain a little more out.
PLEASE CAN WE GET THIS GUY OUT OF THE PUBLIC EYE. He and his spouse are creating a mess that is going to cost Kansas City millions of dollars. Is This Guy This Stupid??? He is portrayed as a babbling idiot with no direction. He cannot accomplish one thing... He is now catering to a single community because he has no more following. He is too stupid to realize how shameful his behavior is. When you are this stupid, nothing you can do can straighten out the problem. The depositions have shown that he has cause the City tons of money in lawsuits, tons of money in substandard performance (because he allowed his wife to interfere in City Business) He intentionally ignored City Attorney, City Manager, City Council, Chief of Staff, and about one million other people that his wife was an extraordinary problem. When you are this dumb, nothing the animal activist can do to save him. We are looking at a disfunctional primate.

Boy that Glorioso is a powerful guy---WSJ, AP and now GMA! It really shows what poor hacks the Emperor with no clothes & co-mayor are at positive PR or achieving their political agenda.

This public nightmare needs to come to an end.
