Gallup says today the poll is 47 vs. 43 percent now Osama over Amnesty McCain, yesterday it was nine points! Wow, what a swing in 24 hours!
You were out of the box quick with the 9 point swing Falling Star, how come so quiet on this poll? Hmmmmmm?
Not so sure having McCaskill tag along in rural Missouri is a good idea. In the 2006 general election for senate, McCaskill got less than half the vote (49.6%). She lost 90 of the 116 counties (counting KC and St. Louis as counties). She won the state by 48,000 out of over 2 million. McCaskill carried KC and St. Louis (city and county) by a 170,000 margin. In other words, she lost rural Missouri to Talent in a year when anti-Bush sentiment was huge. Is Claire the best choice to chaperone Obama through the backwoods? Probably not. Funny how a narrow “lets vote against the Republican” win can give someone a very high opinion of themselves.
