Sam Graves is back on TV with another ad criticizing Kay Barnes "San Francisco values."
From the ad, "The Kansas City gay pride club supports Kay Barnes' agenda to make same-sex marriage the law in Missouri."
This, of course, is the second ad that plays on the San Francisco theme stemming from Barnes' attending a recent fund-raiser in that city that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sponsored.
That first ad generated a lot of national attention. This one may, too.
No word yet from the Barnes camp, although the Democrat's campaign sent out an e-mail blast today that said this:
"They are attacking. They are lying. In an attempt to distort the truth and distract voters from his own failed record, Sam Graves is launching fiercely negative slash- and- burn personal attacks against me and my candidacy.
"I'll respond to each of Sam Graves’ desperate attacks directly and honestly. But when I respond to each attack, I want to be able to say that I am not alone."
The e-mail then seeks a donation.
