The e-tax matters
I've beat this dead horse before. People make decisions or where they live and work if possible around the e-tax. Before you start piling on about how high priority needs are funded with it, let me save you the trouble. Of course they are, what better way to keep it. That is not a valid reason to keep it. Shift high priority funding elsewhere, make tough decisions in the budget and ask voters to fund lower priorities with sales tax or whatever else is more appropriate. What I do know is that you don't fund your most important needs with a tax that causes people not to want to live or work here. That is common sense. Your BS about what it funds is just that but it seems to be working so you win and people are leaving. Good job!
