For a guy not running for re-election, you've just got to wonder....
...wonder, that is, about Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback who announced today that on Monday he's launching a 105-county tour of his home state.
That's all 105 counties and, yes, that's a lot of counties.
Brownback, though, has said he won't seek re-election when he's up again in 2010. So what's he up to?
Just maybe....governor.
Is this junket to all 105 counties....
on taxpayer funds???? There is always a handout in hiding if he is truly going out to press the flesh for the next big office he wants. Oh well, we taxpayers are going to get our handout (which we will pay for) here in another few months and we will have funds to scoot Brownback around the state.
