Remember the board game ("Don't Drop the Soap") created by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' son, John? The one that sounded like a cross between Oz and Monopoly?

Sen. Tim Huelskamp, a Fowler Republican, sure hasn't forgotten. He's incensed, and he's asking for at least three different state agencies to take action. He calls the game "racist, obscene and degrading" for its sophomoric mentions of prison rape, drug abuse, gang violence and all the other lovely aspects of our correctional system.

Today, he released a letter in which he asks the Attorney General to investigate whether John Sebelius is guilty of deliberately misusing state property by listing the governor's mansion as his business address.

Huelskamp said "we have uncovered evidence" that the governor's mansion "is and/or was the warehouse" for the game.

"Deliberate misuse of state property is potentially criminal and I call upon the Kansas Attorney General to investigate this matter quickly,” Huelskamp said in a statement.

Huelskamp said he's also asked the Ethics Commission to weigh in on whether any misconduct may have occured.

And he's asking the state Dept. of Corrections to conduct a report on prison rape and distance themselves from the game.

Finally, Huelskamp also took on the media, saying that we've "only touched the surface" of the "serious issues" involved in the board game's creation and marketing.
